8AM-10AM vs. 2 Hours a Day

Let’s talk about why “work from 8AM-10AM” rarely works… and why “work 2 hours a day” does.

The difference? Flexibility.

When you tell yourself, “I’ll do this at 8AM,” you’re setting yourself up for the perfect scenario, the one that rarely happens. You can’t control everything that goes on at 8AM. Maybe something comes up. Maybe you’re tired. Maybe your morning just doesn’t go as planned.

Then what happens? You miss that time window and suddenly your whole day feels off.

Now flip it: instead of “8AM-10AM: work on homework/go to the gym,” say “Work 2 hours on homework/go to the gym.”

That small shift gives you freedom. Suddenly, your schedule starts working with you, not against you.

You could do 30 minutes on the train. Another 10 minutes while waiting for food to cook. Maybe a quick 20 before heading out with friends. Before you know it, you’ve hit your 2 hours, without even noticing.

You’ll start realizing you have more time than you thought.

Why Flexibility Works

I’m not a fan of exhausting ourselves just to feel productive. That hustle culture mindset, the “no breaks, no rest, just grind” mentality, only leaves you burnt out.

You start believing you “don’t have time,” when in reality, you do. You’re just too stressed to see it.

So instead of chasing perfection or forcing strict hours, set flexible time goals.

Dealing with Procrastination

Let’s be real: procrastination is a thief.

You have to make it painful to delay things, so uncomfortable that your body almost refuses to let you put it off.

Here’s a simple trick: set a 2-minute timer.

Just two minutes.

Spend those two minutes thinking about the task you’re avoiding. You might realize it’s actually not as bad as you thought, and end up starting it right then. Or, you might decide a better time to do it (like after class or work). Either way, you’re confronting it instead of avoiding it.

Because when you procrastinate, you don’t actually rest. You just stress twice, first about not doing it, then again when you finally have to. Why double the stress?

Start handling things sooner. You’ll free up more time than you ever expected.

Getting in Touch with Your Feminine Energy

I’ll always say this: being in tune with your divine feminine energy means living as stress-free as possible.

Yes, we’ll all face uncomfortable moments. Growth requires stepping out of your comfort zone sometimes.

But there’s a way to do it without burning yourself out. Move with intention. Choose calm over chaos. Handle your to-dos gently, not aggressively.

Because when you protect your peace, you protect your power, and that’s where your feminine energy truly shines, pretty lady🌸
